2015 Cavalcade of Customs in Cincinnati OH

Welcome to my post, Cavalcade of Customs Car show blog. The 39th annual CCC was held at the Duke Energy Center in Downtown Cincinnati , Ohio, WOW!!! What a GEAR HEAD Extravaganza, oh my God, if YOU like/love cars and missed this show, we really feel for you, it was truly out-freakin'-rageous!! Plain and Simple.
So much eye candy, so much Horsepower and Torque under one roof, the 39th Annual Cavalcade of Customs was delicious as always, hope to see you all there again next year, forget about the 7 or 8 degrees outside, once inside, you could begin to feel the sculpted metal and the insides of those "Blown Hemi's", talk about the heat.
As could and forever should be expected, the CCS continues to grow in numbers of participants, and paid attendees alike, who could think that so many of us Distinguished Car Nuts are actually all located so close to one another so as to have such an awesome turn-out, I was really impressed and once inside the building, I felt right-at-home.

So, what kind of cars would you like? Great question!
The CCC's show had a Lot of Everything, for Everybody, let's take a peek just in case the cold weather kept your GTO from starting and therefore you didn't make it, and your Buddie's "396" Chevelle was in the fab shop getting some new upper and lower control arms installed for the Spring Cruises coming up soon enough... Hot Rods, some all Metal cars, some all Fiberglass cars and some with a bit of both, Coupes, Cabriolets, Sedans, 2 and 4 Doors and Pick-ups, Man, the Pickups are really pickin-up, can't believe the numbers of cool custom Trucks we're seeing out there lately, "Keep on Truckin' y'all.
How about good ole' American Muscle Cars, we sure saw plenty of that on display, as a matter of fact you may have stopped by INSIGNIA'S display booth to gaze at our beautifully displayed 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible w/ upgraded 421 cu in Big Block w/ original Pontiac Tri Power, in Triple Black, we're really proud of this historic muscle car, and wish to thank all of you who took the time to stop by to chat with Mike, Patrice, Dale , Darren and yours truly over the fun weekend, we enjoyed you all very much, and while on the subject of the INSIGNIA AUTO display, I'd like to thank all our staff, led by Scott, Mike and Patrice for such an awesome "first" exhibit by our Team, well done gang!      So, back to the Muscle on display, the event had Shelby Cobras, Chevelles, Firebirds, GTO's, Camaros, Corvettes, Mustangs, Fairlanes, Impalas, Pontiacs, Novas, Falcons, Buick Grand Sports, Riviera's, Catalina 2plus2's, CUDA's, Challengers, Coronets, Road Runners, GTX's, Pick-ups, Wagons, Sedan Deliveries, we saw most every kind of DETROIT Heavy Lifters that ever roamed the "Streets Lookin' for Action" on the planet from Small Blocks to BIG Blocks, Hemi's and Wedges, one 4 Barrel, two 4 Barrels, 3 deuces, 4 deuces, Hilborn Fuel Injection, modern electronic Fuel Injection systems, 6-71 Blowers, 4-71 Blowers and I think I spotted an 8-71 Blower  also, and Turbochargers, and I saw some Radical Rods/Customs with Twin Turbo Power, it was all very, very COOL, very, very CRAZEE, and very, very FUN, We should do it all again in 2015.
In closing out I'd like to respect all the venues that helped make the 39th Annual Cavalcade of Customs Car Show. It was awesome ! I enjoyed all the Dragsters that turned out, and the front Engined Indy Roadsters from another era, they were great and really took me back to my boyhood days, when I would listen to the Indianapolis  500 on the radio, it was fun to be near these beauties, and to meet all the great people that came to the show, whether as an exhibitor or an enthusiast, great to meet you all, and to you Rat-Rodders, keep your Patina shining and your tank filled with Aviation Fuel, So Long for Now, be back soon to share INSIGNIA's visit to Scottsdale, AZ for the Auctions of Beautiful Automotive Art!
