The build plan is based on utilizing the major components that came with the project car at purchase. Specifically, the build will be based on a 383 Stroker Engine, a 700R Transmission (from a 1991 Caprice), pushing power to a 308 10-bolt posi-traction rear differential. The 383 Stroker Engine is considered by many car enthusiast as a ‘Bad Ass’ power plant. The Chevy 383 Stroker draws much of its popularity from the fact that it uses and improves upon the 350 Chevy block. Because many of the parts interchange between all small block Chevy engines, upgrading another on to a 350 or 383 Stroker is easy and cost-efficient. This has led many of the horsepower seeking Chevrolet enthusiasts to the 383 Stroker.
The build plan is to wisely utilize the engine, transmission and rear differential noted herein while putting the project through a thoughtful process of replacement and repairs necessary to bring the project to an end result of an ‘eye catching’ ‘Resto-Mod that will grab potential buyers attention because of the projects excellent quality in the build, stance, color-combination, tire/wheel combination, handling and originality.
The build will be based around a ‘Cloned Z28’ in either Cortez Silver / Black Stripes or Cordova Maroon / White Stripes (original 1968 Z28 color combinations) or (Hugger Orange / White Stripes – not original to the 1968 Z28).

Classic car restoration san Francisco
ReplyDeleteAfter perusing your brilliant blog on Classic Car Restoration in San Francisco I contacted Muscle Car Experts and everything about my experience was phenomenal! These folks are indeed as good as it gets! They really work with you, are reasonable, and get things done on time. They are honest and the work looks incredible. I have had a significant number of things done and each time they are useful. They have even done the little things for no charge. (In any case, I have been there for a lot of huge things as well.) They generally appear to truly value that you came to them. I can't suggest them exceptionally enough!
